So here is the 411 on the Greater Vanvcouver Real Estate market. In January there were 10,808 listings and only 1103 sales. There were around 1800 sales in January of last years, so that around 40% less this year.
Interesting times we are in. To call it Seller's market or Buyer's Market it misleading. There are detached homes that stay on the market for months while we see apartments and condos sell quickly with multiple offers. Even the detached houses vary greatly in market response. I have notice single family houses that show well, and with little or no upgrades needed, sell in a timely manner.
