"My mother decided to sell her house and asked me to work with my brother and sister to find her a realtor. My mother's sale was a complex one because we were under a tight deadline, and it involved moving money across international lines for the purchase of her next home. We interviewed several potential realtors about the Vancouver market, the selling price of my mother's house, and the complications of coordinating the sale of her home with the purchase of her next propoerty. All the realtors seemed confident of their answers, but James quoted us the highest asking price for our mother's home. When we countered with James estimate to the other realtors, they argued that it was too high, would delay the sale, and potentially lead to a lower selling price in the end.
